George Orwell, the author of the book "1984" once said "In times of universal deceit, telling the truth becomes a revolutionary act". In saying this, he echoes the words of the Greek Hero Teresius who told the Alexandrian Architect Eephus "It is but sorrow to be wise when wisdom profits not" Today we find ourselves living in strange times when truth is at a premium & lies are heaped upon lies until everyone of truth is dismissed, berated, ostracized & very often condemned.
Though it may come as something of a surprise to many, it can be proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that the social, educational, Religious and political leviathans that we habitually take for granted & serve every day, are not in turn serving, protecting or empowering us. In fact, in many cases they operate in accordance with occult designs largely unknown to the honest, well meaning & hard working individual serving within their hierarchies. Regardless of the nominal and relative good that they do, these edifices demonstrate time & again that they are not serving the best interests of humanity or of the planet. Their publicity shy architects consider themselves an "over class" of specially endowed Olympians & Utopians who’s duty it is to suppress, control, impoverish & if necessary, destroy their recalcitrant subjects. Those subordinate persons or nations who agendas & outlooks coincide with those of the “over lords” may experience relative prosperity & privilege, whereas those individuals or nations who’s philosophies or attitudes differ, will see misrepresentation, scandal, subjugation & even annihilation.
As the Russian author Leo Tolstoy so perceptively wrote: “Government is an association of men who do violence to the rest of us.”
Given the extreme brevity of all media stories on almost any subject, including the goings on in the political arena, it hardly even matters what ends up getting reported these days. We have independent candidates who have absolutely no chance of getting elected & two major parties both controlled by the same hidden hand. Those who control both the major media networks & the main political parties know that the ordinary individual has neither the time, nor the energy & very often not even the inclination, to get their arms around all the facts, even if those facts were to be presented to them. Years of lies, deceit, scandal, criminality & cover-ups have jaded most of the population into a semi comatose condition when it comes to monitoring what is going on behind the very closed doors of that all too remote “corridor of power” & it is also known by those in true power what the reaction would be from most of the world if the whole truth was accessible in the public domain. When we hear politicians, spin doctors and media reporters using phrases like “The stage is set” , “The race is on” , “Now for the highlights’, or “Now for our next ‘story’” etc. we should reflect that these are not terms taken from the dramatic & sporting world for no reason. It is all what Orwell called the “doublespeak” & what Lieutenant James Albright so aptly called “Bushlip”. Every so called commentator that is seen on TV is an expert in it, they have been well trained to be that way & they give us examples of it every day.
The history of these despotic machinations goes back a long way, to the dawn of civilization & beyond. The fact is that we have never, in the history of the world, had a system of true democracy, & nor have we ever truly experienced what it is that the term is officially touted to mean. We have however, had plenty of experience in what the term unofficially means.
The term democracy comes from the Greek Demos Kratos supposedly meaning “people rule” however the real connotation is actually more along the lines of people RULED or people UNDER rule. Once the true connotation is considered we may more easily be able to understand the rhetoric of certain politicians such as Bill Clinton, Maggie Thatcher, Tony Blair, Mikael Gorbachev, G W Bush and their successors. The Athenian philosopher Plato himself shuddered to think of a nation under pure democracy. Of the 4 political systems he delineated in his book “Republic” he placed democracy last on his list of favorites, even below tyranny. So when we hear today, our leaders vaunting the benefits of Democracy, perhaps we need to read between the lines & understand how this Orwellian doublespeak works, how it serves to lead us away from the actual truth & how it compels us to doubt the evidences we derive from our own daily experiences as disempowered under-classes, subject to the worst kind of brainwashing and manipulation that any civilization in history as ever been forced to endure.
Semantics aside, it remains an indisputable fact that we are now on the verge of experiencing a global Plutocracy, better known as The New World Order in which the fragile & endowed freedoms disappear, in which corporations & private super banks finance & control governments & where a few privileged & depraved men decide whether a nation prospers or crumbles into chaos forever.
Ours is an age of engineered famine, made for TV mega death, the digital implant, spy satellites, smart bombs, super powered “metalstorm” weapons, eavesdropping agencies, plastic money, infotainment, prescription super drugs, virtual reality, genetically modified Frankenstein foods & artificial intelligence. It is the age of illiterate, delinquent teens and overworked, underpaid pleasure addicted adults; an age of hedonism, narcissism, corruption & above all else, of historical amnesia hurtling towards a frightening apocalypse. One entire form of civilization is demonstrably on its way out and the accepted idioms which had been taken for granted by our forebears are no more. As each year passes, we become more and more distant from the traditions & morays of the past. To paraphrase the great Scottish psychologist R D Lang: Time is moving so fast that the only chance we even get to see the present is when it is already disappearing.
There are a great number of researchers who are less than convinced of the official version of the events concerning the attack on the world trade center & why there has been in the aftermath, such a conspicuous lack of regard for constitutional traditions, legal precedents, human rights & national sovereignty within the echelons of the current US administration & across the globe. It seems particularly odd as to why, after 2 decades of rhetoric over world freedom, “global community” & diversity, the world is now experiencing wall to wall belligerence & dissention comparable to that which existed in the prelude the Second World War some 70 years ago.
The implementation of solutions begins with each of us questioning where the ship of state is leading us & the motives, or even the sanity of those presently at the helm - those we have ELected but have not been able to SELect. Are they leading us toward the calm waters of peace and prosperity, or for the sterile icecaps of want? Are we heading for the promise Utopia, or for the gates of oblivion? Perhaps it is time for proactive mutiny; for good & honest people to take the ship of state into our own hands & turn the ship around before there is no chance for us to return. We often hear it said that the government is afraid of the masses of mankind; afraid of the under-classes they seek to control & disempower & a little research does in fact confirm this statement but we are rarely told what it is they are actually afraid of or what to do to make good use of the power that scares them.
The hidden controllers remain shadowy & work from behind the scenes because they are indeed afraid but what they fear is not a dissembled illiterate crowd, regardless of number. What the elite actually fear & always will, is an educated, informed mass of people, an educated, informed & LEGALLY EMPOWERED population coming straight for their weakest flank. How to take our power back lies not in maneuvers of a political or revolutionary nature but in legal maneuvers. After all, when Big Brother comes after us, political allegiances are hardly our salvation. In any confrontation with Big Brother we find that the weapons that are used to take away our power & victimize us are purely legal & not political, yet the average person knows next to nothing about the basic commercial & social laws by which their own lives are limited & circumscribed. Until we ourselves fall victim to the laws that the Oligarchy has placed upon us we rarely wake up to realize the impact these laws have on each of us & what changes could be made by the correct use of the law in the right, rather than the wrong hands.
Even Christ is reported to have said: “Know thine enemy”. Yes, know thine enemy indeed & also know the weapons that he uses, for that is true wisdom. And then learn how to use those same weapons in reverse & for the good of all. The feeling of empowerment that comes with such knowledge is our gift to ourselves and it cannot come to us from another.
In this new millennium much of the world is waking up & it is finally the right time for the blinkers to come off. The elite are running scared which is why there has been such an escalation in terror, war, censorship & a speeding up of their plans. They know the cat is finally out of the bag & the people are becoming empowered. NOW is the time for mankind to put the power back in its own hands.
